Club equipment is available for hire to members of Kupe Canoe Club only, except on organised club trips. A full set of gear (i.e. Boat, paddle, spray deck, buoyancy aide and helmet) will cost $10.00 per day for a member or $15.00 per day for a non-member. Individual items of gear are available at a rate of $5.00 per day per item except for items of safety gear, which are free of charge. If you wish to hire the gear for a longer term (i.e. more than one week) you will be charged the going rate for a maximum of three days usage per week whether you use the gear for one day or seven. Payment will be required in advance (i.e. when you pick the gear up). You may be held liable for any damage that occurs to any of the equipment while you have possession of it. Please allow our gear officer plenty of advanced warning of your intention to hire gear so that he can ensure the availability of both the gear and himself.
